Larry is the lead trumpet player in our
powerful trumpet section and co-founder of the Jazz Monsters.
He is a graduate of Texas Christian University and
has over forty years of playing experience.
In addition to the Jazz Monsters, Larry performed
regularly at University Christian Church for over
thirty years and can now be seen performing every Sunday at
Christ Chapel Bible Church as a member of the orchestra.
Larry performs all styles of music and his playing experience
includes the James Davis Orchestra, the Fort Worth Symphony
and Opera Orchestra, the Irving Symphony, Plano Symphony,
Richardson Symphony, the Harvey Anderson Orchestra and
various other society bands in the DFW metroplex. Larry was a trumpet
playing band director for 30 years. He retired from band directing in
1999 and now is the happiest guy in the world!
