Larry Harrison

Larry is the lead trumpet player in our powerful trumpet section. Larry is a graduate of Texas Christian University and has over forty years of playing experience. In addition to the Jazz Monsters, Larry performs regularly at University Christian Church and with the Texas Wind Symphony. Larry performs all styles of music and his playing experience includes the James Davis Orchestra, the Fort Worth Symphony and Opera Orchestra, the Irving Symphony, the Harvey Anderson Orchestra and various other society bands in the DFW metroplex. Larry was a trumpet playing band director for 29 years. He retired from band directing in 1999 and now is the happiest guy in the world!
