Jim Sharples

 Jim plays bass for the Jazz Monsters and is a graduate of the 
University of North Texas. Jim was a very successful band director at
Carroll and Richland High School and now works for Express Industries
doing fund raising.  Jim has been a very active professional musician
for over forty years playing both piano and bass.  He leads his own small jazz ensemble
and plays with many other groups as well.  Jim played with the Metro Praise Orchestra
for eight years and now plays with the Joshua Experience big band ministry.
He played some years ago with the Claude Gordon and Mal Fitch orchestras.
Besides playing professionally, Jim is tuning pianos and learning
rebuilding and maintenance skills of piano restoration.
