Jim Sharples

Jim plays bass for the Jazz Monsters and is a graduate of the University of North Texas. Jim was a very successful band director at Carroll and Richland High School and now works for Express Industries doing fund raising. Jim has been a very active professional musician for over forty years playing both piano and bass. Jim leads his own small jazz ensemble and plays with many other groups as well. Jim can be heard on the “Praise 95” CD recorded by the First United Methodist Church of Bedford where he plays regularly. He plays piano in the Metroplex Praise Orchestra and has worked with the Claude Gordon and the Mel Fitch Orchestras.
